Description:
The GEN-Y EXECUTIVE Fifth Wheel-to-Gooseneck Pin Box replaces your fifth wheel king pin box with a self-latching 2-5/16" SnapLatch gooseneck coupler, so you can tow your fifth wheel RV with a gooseneck ball instead of a bulky fifth wheel hitch and keep full use of your truck bed when you are not towing. This model fits LCI Rhino Box frames and is matched to trailers with a GVWR of 7,275 – 16,360 lbs (1,500 – 4,500 lbs pin weight). Its TORSION-FLEX rubber torsion arms absorb road shock before it reaches the truck, and customers report up to 90% smoother towing than a standard rigid pin box. GEN-Y lists increased cargo protection, reduced tire wear on truck and trailer, and possible improved fuel economy as further benefits. It works with a recessed gooseneck ball only if the top of the ball is within 1" of the truck bed. Stay within the specified pin weight range; tow capacity is limited by the lowest-rated component.
