Description:

The GEN-Y GLYDER 7K Torsion-Flex Ball Mount with a 6" drop and 2" shank is a lightweight bolt-on ball mount rated for 7,000 lbs. It uses GEN-Y’s patented TORSION-FLEX technology, which lets the truck and trailer glide down the road instead of passing along the jarring and shock of a standard 2" ball mount. The result is up to a 90% smoother ride, and the smoothest ride is at 400 – 700 lbs of tongue weight. The GLYDER is made for the lighter towing market: lightweight campers, teardrop trailers, small landscape trailers and boats. The ball platform takes GEN-Y’s 1" shank single ball attachments, which are sold separately. Do not use it in the rise position. It is not intended for off-road towing, and it is not recommended with stacked-tube GEN-Y receiver hitches because of the extra length and stress on the truck receiver. Towing capacity is limited by the lowest-rated component.
