The GEN-Y SPARTAN Torsion-Flex Gooseneck Coupler with SnapLatch is a replacement gooseneck coupler for trailers with a 4" round tube. It is rated for 25,000 lbs towing and 4,500 lbs tongue weight, and it is built for flatbed, utility and enclosed gooseneck trailers. Its TORSION-FLEX technology isolates the truck from the trailer for a smoother, safer and more comfortable tow, and GEN-Y reports up to a 90% smoother ride. GEN-Y says hotshot customers who tow flatbed goosenecks daily have reported fuel savings and less tire wear. The self-latching SnapLatch coupler makes a proper connection every time you hook up and resets for the next hookup. The SPARTAN is taller than a standard coupler, so measure from the bottom of your current coupler to the retaining pin before ordering. Gooseneck trailers vary from brand to brand, so check your hole pattern too; a custom hole pattern may be required. Tow capacity is limited by the lowest-rated component.
