Description:

The GEN-Y CONTRACTOR Torsion-Flex Trailer Channel Mount is an adjustable coupler mount that works with most channel mount couplers. This model is rated for 16,000 lbs towing and a 1,000 – 1,700 lbs tongue weight range. It is built from heavy-duty steel and rubber TORSION-FLEX cords that absorb shock instead of passing it between the truck and trailer, and it is virtually maintenance-free: there is no airbag to maintain and no bearings to crush or wear out. GEN-Y says the rubber TORSION-FLEX design reduces inertia by up to 90% for more control and a smoother ride. The tow vehicle and trailer track independently, which reduces sway and trailer bounce and limits the impact of bumps, potholes, expansion joints, curves and hills. A built-in tongue weight scale helps you load the trailer balanced and safely. The ball coupler is not included. Tow capacity is limited by the lowest-rated component.
