The story behind TOWLOCK and why they were created started with its founder John. One day John was towing his wife Yvonne who was inexperienced at taking control of a towed vehicle. John's young son was riding with Yvonne when their tow rope slipped off the tow vehicle. The tow rope caught the front wheel and made the vehicle veer out into the path of another oncoming car. Luckily John's wife and son had missed the oncoming vehicle and miraculously avoided what could have been a terrible accident. John decided at that point something needed to change. Therefor he created the TOWLOCK safety device to prevent the dangers of towing slippage.

Slip a TOWLOCK™ over your towball and the towrope. Will not slip off or jerk free from any vehicle’s towball no matter what the pulling angle of the towline is.

TOWLOCK™ FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
TO INSTALL TOWLOCK™
1. Slide spring over towball making sure spring is positioned at rear of towball. (DO NOT OVER STRETCH SPRING)
2. Attach D clip/tow rope clip to large end of TOWLOCK™.
TO REMOVE TOWLOCK™
1. Push TOWLOCK™ forward
2. lift TOWLOCK™ off towball.
